AN EDITABLE STARTING POINT
Ink ring mark
Place Q at the centre of an ink ring, with a restrained cinnabar accent.
The circular frame echoes Q without inventing a historical origin for the letter. Ink establishes the silhouette, while cinnabar marks two small details above and below.
Inspect the default Q, then replace it with JQ to compare the space. Keep other settings fixed while trying serif and sans-serif fonts. A circle narrows the available space at its corners, so three characters will not suit every letterform.
Work in three rounds: choose a silhouette, inspect the spacing, and decide on an accent. Download a PNG at the same size after each round and record the reason for the change. The workshop offers shape, text, font, and colour settings. More precise margin or stroke changes require editing the exported SVG.
Finally, use the background colour of the intended page and repeat the small-size check. This configuration is a starting point for an exercise, not a claim of a trademark-cleared brand identity.
The ZIP includes editable parameters, an SVG preview and usage notes. Export the final PNG from the workbench. Fonts have their own licenses.
